One Person Can Make a Difference
In an impersonal world, it is easy to believe that one person cannot make much of a difference. But history reminds us that sometimes the smallest margin can change the course of nations. A single vote has, at different times, helped determine the direction of governments and political movements. The lesson is simple: one person matters. God has never needed a crowd to accomplish His purposes. Throughout Scripture, He repeatedly used individuals who were willing to stand when others would not—Noah, Moses, David, Esther, Daniel, and others who simply made themselves available to God.
Ezekiel records the heartbreaking words, “I sought for a man… but I found none.” God was looking for someone willing to stand in the gap. He is still looking for people who will stand faithfully in their generation. You may feel insignificant, overlooked, or incapable of changing anything, but you do not have to change the whole world to make a difference. Be faithful where God has placed you. Stand for truth. Pray for your family. Share the Gospel. Encourage someone who is discouraged. One faithful person, surrendered to God, can influence a family, a church, a community, and even generations to come.
Ask God to help you be the person who will stand in the gap. Don't underestimate what He can do through one surrendered life.
"Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is." — Jeremiah 17:7

What are you Seeking? (Part 2)
In this message, "What are you Seeking? (Part 2)," Pastor Burns explains how many people search for meaning and purpose in all the wrong places. Just as Solomon sought fulfillment in worldly success and great wealth only to find it vanity and vexation of spirit, listeners will learn that true answers cannot be found in dead works, rituals, or philosophies.
Turning to John 20, listeners will hear how Mary Magdalene went to the tomb searching for Jesus and discovered that He had risen. Pastor Burns shares how the reality of Christ’s resurrection provides eternal life, encouraging everyone to choose life, since Jesus is "the way, the truth, and the life."
