A guide to the church app.

Open the app and the day is laid out for you — everything you need to know at KBC, in the order you need it.

• The next thing happening at the church sits at the top — tap it for the details.
• The Victory Verse — the month’s memory verse from the bulletin — is right below it. Tap the verse to open it in the Bible.
• Today’s devotional follows, with its key verse and photograph. Tap “Read more” for the whole piece and its closing application.
• Today’s reading plan is listed further down. Tap a portion to read it, and mark it read where you finish — your streak counts the days you complete all of them.
• The latest sermon and quick tiles for Prayer and the eBulletin round out the page.

A full King James Bible built for study. It remembers where you were and opens there next time.

• Swipe left or right to turn chapters, or use the chapter buttons at the foot of the page.
• Tap any verse to see study notes and commentaries — Pastor Burns’s notes carry the house icon, and six classic commentaries sit beside them. Markings and pictures connected to the verse appear there too.
• Tap the play button to hear the chapter read aloud. It keeps reading into the next chapter, keeps playing with the screen locked, and the page follows along.
• The AA button sets the text size and audio options; search finds verses and topics across the whole Bible.

Watch or listen to every message, going back through the archive.

• Sermons with both a video and a recording have a Video / Audio switch above the player — turning to video pauses the recording so you never lose your place.
• Audio keeps playing when you leave the page or lock your phone. A small player bar appears at the bottom of the app with play, pause, and how far along you are.
• Tap “Say Amen” under a message that spoke to you — the count is shared with the whole church.

What’s coming up at the church, month by month.

• Upcoming events are listed with their posters; tap one for the time, the details, and directions.
• Events that take sign-ups have the sign-up right on the page.

The app can nudge you — every switch is off until you turn it on.

• More → Notifications: new sermons, new Bible studies, this week’s events, and a daily reading reminder at the time you choose.
• The hourly prayer prompt has two styles — one name each hour, or one nudge for the hour’s ten requests. Tapping the notification opens straight to the prayer with an “I prayed” button.
• The bell at the top of Today holds everything announced recently. Swipe a notice to clear it, or clear them all from the top of the list.

Give to the ministry from the app, one time or monthly.

• More → Give: choose an amount, one time or monthly, and where you’d like it directed. Payment is handled securely by Stripe.
• The e-transfer address and the mailing address are on the same page, with a copy button.

KBC Connect is on the wrist too, built around one thing: praying for one another.

• The watch app shows one person from the prayer list every two hours — every watch shows the same person, taking turns through the list — with a button to say you prayed.
• Add the praying-hands complication to your watch face to see who’s next at a glance.
• Prayer prompts from your phone appear on the wrist automatically when your phone is locked.
