Eve was deceived. 2 Corinthians 11:3 says the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty. The word beguiled means to trick or deceive.
But even though Eve was deceived, she was still responsible. She says, “I did eat.”
Adam blamed Eve. Eve blamed the serpent. But both had sinned.
