Reading Plans (member-selectable)

• Added a Reading Plan selector to the account settings panel: Traditional, Chronological, or Mixed, as a segmented toggle.
• The chosen plan saves to each member's account and loads on every visit and device, so they always return to their plan. Plan selection is members-only; signed-out users see a "Log in to change the reading plan" link beside the plan name.
• Added a whole-plan completion bar in settings (percentage and days-completed), which updates live when a day is marked read.
• Fixed plan resolution so the saved account plan takes priority over the browser cookie.

Today Tab redesign

• Reorganised the order: devotional first, then the teaching video, then Today's Reading, then the Community Feed.
• Unified the three section headers to one bold style, each with a distinct icon badge: a sun for the devotional, a book for the reading, and people for the feed. The reading icon turns into a green check once the day is marked complete.
• Removed the busy "tap a verse" hint line.

Reading display and completion

• The reading now collapses like the devotional: it opens compact at a fixed height with a soft fade, and a "Continue Reading" / "Show Less" toggle expands it.
• Verse numbers were softened to a subtle, lighter style.
• Replaced the per-chapter "mark read" controls with one "Mark as Read" action at the end, shown only when expanded and sitting beside the toggle at matching size. Completion is members-only.
• Fixed completion tracking that was carrying over incorrectly between days and plans (now keyed to the actual book, chapter, and plan).

Teaching videos (admin)

• New Settings → Plan Videos page: pick a plan, browse to any day (read ahead with a date picker), and attach a teaching video. Videos are tied to the day of the year, so each plays on that day every year, per plan.
• On the Today tab the video appears as a clean poster with a play button ("Thoughts From My Devotions / Watch the Video") that loads the player only when tapped.

Daily summaries (admin)

• Added a per-day Summary field to the Plan Videos page, using the full WordPress visual editor with bold, underline, colours, lists, and a raw-HTML tab for full control. Summaries are saved per plan and repeat yearly.
• On the Today tab a "Read a Summary" button appears beside "Continue Reading" and opens a styled modal of the day's summary.

Community Feed

• Slimmed the feed cards to take less space, and capped the view at 15 cards with a "Show more" card to reveal the rest.

Fixes

• Fixed the chronological plan showing "No readings\" (the parser now handles cross-chapter verse ranges and single-chapter books).
• Fixed the summary modal opening off-centre (it now centres against the screen).
• Fixed stray backslashes appearing in saved summaries (form data is now unslashed before saving).

• Added a history feature for passages, allowing users to easily jump back to previously viewed passages. We also improved the reading schedule logic to create a smoother and more natural flow through the Bible.
