This reminds us that the flesh is not only seen in outward immorality. Sometimes the flesh shows up in a church member’s attitude, in a home, in a conversation, or in a spirit of division. A person can look religious and still be walking in the flesh if his heart is ruled by pride, bitterness, anger, or jealousy.
