Pharaoh does not deny the supernatural-he tries to match it. The magicians could imitate, but they could not reverse the plague. They could only add to the problem.
Satan can counterfeit, but he cannot redeem. He mimics power, but cannot bring deliverance (2 Timothy 3:8 (Jannes and Jambres), Matthew 24:24).
