These are called “lying wonders” because their purpose is deception. Satan often imitates what God does. Just as Pharaoh’s magicians attempted to mimic Moses, Satan counterfeits truth to mislead people.
Miracles alone are never proof that something is from God. Truth must always be tested by Scripture.
