In a world where everything around us changes-from technology to values to relationships-how comforting it is to know that God never changes. Moses reminded Israel, and reminds us, that “the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God” (Deut 7:9).
✔ He is faithful in His person - God’s character is unchanging. He keeps His word, He cannot lie, and He is constant in His truth and love.
✔ He is faithful in His provision - Just as God provided for Israel-physically, emotionally, spiritually-He provides for us. From daily needs to our deepest spiritual longings, God is our source.
✔ He is faithful in His promises - His promises to save, keep, and forgive are sure. When we trust Him, we can rest in the security of His word.
In a time of uncertainty, let’s choose to rest in the One who is always certain: our faithful God.
