Now we come to the promotion. Because Christ humbled Himself, God exalted Him. This is the opposite of self-promotion. God is the One who lifts up. He has given Him a name above every name-“KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS” (Revelation 19:16). This teaches me that I do not need to promote myself. If I will humble myself, God will lift me up in His time.
