And the LORD said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead which sought thy life. — Exodus 4:19
The Lord again speaks to Moses in Midian and tells him to return to Egypt, for the men who sought his life are dead.
This is further reassurance and confirmation. The fear that originally drove Moses from Egypt in Exodus 2 is now removed. God’s timing is exact. The danger Moses once fled has passed.
This reflects the broader biblical theme of divine timing seen in Galatians 4:4.
