The Question That Reveals the Truth
Four high school boys once decided that a beautiful spring morning was far too inviting to spend in class. After skipping school, they returned in the afternoon with a well-rehearsed excuse: their car had a flat tire. The teacher listened, smiled kindly, and told them they had missed a quiz but could make it up immediately. Relieved, they sat down confidently, pencils in hand. Then came the single question: “Which tire was flat?”
In that moment, their carefully constructed story unraveled. What seemed clever quickly became obvious. The Bible reminds us that sin has a way of surfacing. We may coordinate the details, rehearse the explanation, and hope no one notices—but God sees perfectly. He does not need a follow-up question to uncover the truth. He weighs the heart and knows the facts long before we speak them.
There is something sobering about that reality, but also something freeing. We do not have to maintain false narratives or carry the stress of deception. Living honestly before God brings peace. The Lord’s desire is not to trap us but to lead us into truth. When we walk in integrity, we do not fear the question that exposes inconsistency. We can rest in the confidence that our lives match our words.
Read Psalm 51 slowly and prayerfully, asking God to cultivate a heart that loves truth in the inward parts.
Choose honesty over convenience, even when it costs you in the moment. Living truthfully before God brings far more peace than covering up a lie.
"The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; And all the upright in heart shall glory." — Psalm 64:10

Trusting God With Tomorrow (Pt. 3)
In this final part of the message, “Trusting God with Tomorrow,” we are brought face to face with a powerful truth from Scripture—while we often plan our days and assume the future, the Bible teaches us that life is fragile, uncertain, and completely in God’s hands. As James reminds us, our life is “even a vapour” that appears for a little time and then vanishes away . The issue is not planning, but planning without God—living as though we are in control of what only God knows.
This message walks through the heart of biblical trust: having a proper perspective of tomorrow, a humble posture before God today, and a surrendered plan that says, “If the Lord will.” Whether facing uncertainty, fear, or the illusion of control, we are called to draw near to God, rest in His care, and trust that His will is good, even when tomorrow is unknown. Because Christ has risen, our future is secure—not in our plans, but in His perfect hands.
