Senior Pastor at Kitchener Baptist Church
Pastor Jerry A. Burns and his wife April came to Kitchener in 2005, fresh out of Bible college. They served the Lord together at Kitchener Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Philip Clayton, where Pastor Burns was children’s director, bus director, deacon and assistant pastor before becoming senior pastor in 2011.
He is passionate about preaching the Word of God, about helping people grow in their relationship with Christ, and about standing for truth in a world so opposed to it.
Pastor Burns and April have been married for 22 years, and they have three children. Allan, their eldest, is enrolled in Bible college. Brandon is 18 and recently graduated from high school. Emma, their youngest, is 14 and has just started high school.
