The God Who Made It All

There is something comforting about remembering who God is. We live in a world that often feels uncertain and out of control. Circumstances change, people change, and plans can suddenly be interrupted. Yet Jeremiah reminds us that the God we serve is the God who made it all.
“He hath made the earth by his power.” Creation itself is a testimony to the greatness of God. The mountains, oceans, stars, and everything around us exist because He spoke them into existence. If God possesses the power to create the world, He certainly possesses the power to sustain us through whatever we face.
Jeremiah also says that God “hath established the world by his wisdom.” God does not simply have power—He has perfect wisdom. There are times when we may not understand what God is doing, but we can trust that His wisdom is greater than our understanding. What looks confusing to us is never confusing to Him.
Finally, we are reminded that God stretched out the heavens by His discretion. Nothing about God is careless or accidental. His creation demonstrates His order, purpose, and wisdom. The same God who carefully established the heavens is able to carefully lead your life.
Today, you may be facing something you cannot control or understand. Remember that your circumstances are never greater than your Creator. The God who made the heavens and earth is still on the throne. Trust His power, rest in His wisdom, and follow His leading.
When you feel overwhelmed today, pause and remember who God is. Instead of focusing only on what you cannot control, focus on the One who controls all things. Trust His power when you feel weak, His wisdom when you are confused, and His direction when you do not know which way to go.
"What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, In God I have put my trust; I will not fear What flesh can do unto me." — Psalm 56:3-4

In this final part of the message, “Trusting God with Tomorrow,” we are brought face to face with a powerful truth from Scripture—while we often plan our days and assume the future, the Bible teaches us that life is fragile, uncertain, and completely in God’s hands. As James reminds us, our life is “even a vapour” that appears for a little time and then vanishes away . The issue is not planning, but planning without God—living as though we are in control of what only God knows.
This message walks through the heart of biblical trust: having a proper perspective of tomorrow, a humble posture before God today, and a surrendered plan that says, “If the Lord will.” Whether facing uncertainty, fear, or the illusion of control, we are called to draw near to God, rest in His care, and trust that His will is good, even when tomorrow is unknown. Because Christ has risen, our future is secure—not in our plans, but in His perfect hands.
