A Course Worth Finishing
2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
Paul didn’t just run any race—he ran the one God gave him. He didn’t compare his path with Peter’s or John’s. He didn’t look back with paralyzing regret. Instead, he pressed forward, determined to complete the course God had set before him. That’s our calling too. We don’t run someone else’s race. We don’t need someone else’s assignment. We simply need to finish what God started in us.
Your course might look different than someone else’s—it might be filled with unexpected turns, uphill climbs, or even seasons where it feels like you’re running alone. But if God set you on that path, then it has purpose. And by His grace, it’s possible. Like Paul, you may not have run perfectly, but you can still run faithfully. Don’t quit. Don’t slow down. Just take the next step with Jesus. You don’t have to be fast—just faithful.
