James 4:14 “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow… For what is your life? It is even a vapour…“
The unknown has a way of unsettling the heart. We like maps, clarity, and predictability — but Scripture reminds us that tomorrow is hidden from our view. Like early explorers staring into blank spaces on old maps, we face our own areas marked “fear,” “danger,” or “I don’t know what’s coming next.” Yet God writes over every unknown: HERE IS GOD. Even when life feels fragile like a vapour, God remains steady, sovereign, and fully aware of all that awaits us.
When the unknown scares you, remember that uncertainty is not a sign of God’s absence — it is an invitation to trust Him more deeply. You may not know what tomorrow holds, but you know Who holds tomorrow. And that is enough.
