Mark 6:48 “And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them…”
Sometimes it feels like life is all uphill. You’re giving it everything you’ve got—rowing, straining, pressing forward—but the wind just won’t cooperate. That’s where the disciples were. They were right where Jesus had told them to be—out on the water—but everything was against them. And still… He saw them.
Maybe you’re in a season where nothing seems to come easy. You’re trying to be faithful, trying to keep going, but the resistance is real. The good news? Jesus sees you. He’s not blind to your struggle, nor indifferent to your exhaustion. He knows the storm you’re facing because He allowed it—not to destroy you, but to develop you. And just as He came to them, walking on the very thing that threatened to overwhelm them, He’s coming to you. Keep rowing. Help is on the way.
