Mark 6:51 “And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.”
The moment Jesus stepped into the boat, everything changed. The wind stopped. The chaos stilled. Their hearts, once gripped by fear, were overwhelmed by awe. But what stands out most is that it all shifted when Jesus got in the boat. The storm didn’t calm before His arrival. The peace came with His presence.
I think about a season in my life when everything felt like it was coming apart—financial strain, ministry pressure, family needs. I kept trying to row harder. Then one night in prayer, it hit me: I hadn’t invited Jesus into it. I was asking Him to fix things from a distance, not walk into the middle of it with me. Maybe that’s where you are right now. You’re battling, pushing, trying to hold it all together. What if today, instead of striving, you invited Jesus to step in? He brings peace—not because the sea changes, but because He’s there.
