Isaiah 37:21 “Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria…”
Hezekiah prayed—and heaven responded. That’s the power of prayer. God wasn’t indifferent to the threats or distant from the pain. He saw. He heard. And He moved. The turning point in the battle wasn’t fought with swords or soldiers but with a prayer in the temple. “thou hast prayed…” That’s what God said. The great reversal in this story came because one man brought his burden to the Lord.
You may feel small today. You may wonder if your prayers make any difference. But don’t stop praying. The enemy trembles when God’s people get serious about calling on His name. Heaven still responds. Mountains still move. And God still fights for those who trust Him. Keep praying. Your battle might be won not with force—but with faith.
