2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
Paul’s words near the end of his life aren’t bitter or resentful—they’re victorious. He doesn’t say, “I had an easy life,” or, “I avoided pain.” Instead, he says, “I have fought.” That word matters. The Christian life is a fight. It’s not a walk in the park—it’s a daily spiritual battle against discouragement, sin, and the temptation to quit. But it’s a good fight. It’s worth it.
Some of you know this firsthand. You’ve faced seasons of hardship—maybe with your health, your family, or your emotions. Maybe you’ve been misunderstood, forgotten, or forsaken. Paul was too. But through it all, he didn’t throw in the towel. He kept going. And friend, so can you. You might be tired, but you’re still here. That means God’s not done with you. Your faith still matters. Your influence still counts. And the fight? It’s still worth it.
You may feel bruised, but you are not beaten. Keep showing up. Keep praying. Keep standing on the truth. Finish your fight with faith.
