Seeking Is Not Passive

Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness…”

Seeking God is active, intentional, and continual. Jesus did not say “think about” or “admire” the kingdom—He said seek it. This means arranging life around spiritual priorities rather than squeezing God into leftover moments.

A God-first life is built on daily choices—time in His Word, obedience when it costs, prayer when it feels inconvenient. These small acts of faith accumulate into a life marked by peace.

Where might God be asking you to seek Him more intentionally? Would you respond in obedience today?
