Peace That Plants Your Feet

Romans 5:1 “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Before the Gospel ever prepares us to go, it anchors us to stand. Peace isn’t just a warm feeling—it’s a weapon in spiritual warfare. When the enemy comes with accusations, fear, and doubt, the believer who stands firm in their peace with God cannot be moved. That peace isn’t circumstantial—it’s covenantal. It doesn’t shift with our emotions or stumble when we do. It’s rooted in the finished work of Jesus.

Think about Gideon’s 300. Outnumbered and underarmed, they stood still and let God fight for them. Why? Because they had peace—not in their might, but in God’s promise. That same confidence belongs to every child of God. If you’re justified, you’re secure. If you’re saved, you’re loved. And if God be for you, who can be against you? The Gospel of peace isn’t just good news—it’s firm ground. When life throws its worst, dig your heels into grace, hold fast to His promises, and stand.
