Luke 2:19 “But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.“
People responded to Christ’s birth in different ways. Some wondered. Mary pondered. The shepherds praised. Mary teaches us to treasure the work of God in quiet reflection—to sit still and let the weight of God’s grace sink deep into our hearts.
The shepherds show us what joyful faith looks like. They returned to their fields glorifying and praising God. Their circumstances didn’t change—but their hearts did. When you truly encounter Jesus, you cannot remain the same. Let your response today be worship, gratitude, and reflection on the Saviour who came for you.
