Israel kept showing up, but their hearts were far from God. That hits close to home. It’s possible to attend church, sing hymns, and carry a Bible, yet still resist obedience.
I have to ask myself honestly: am I just going through the motions, or am I walking with God? Obedience is not perfection, but it is surrender. God is not impressed with religious activity—He desires a heart that listens and responds.
