Luke 2:1 “And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.”
God used a pagan emperor’s decree to move Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem—exactly where the Messiah needed to be born. What seemed like political pressure and unwanted inconvenience was actually divine orchestraton. In moments when life feels pushed, interrupted, or redirected, remember this: God is never interrupted. He is at work in the big things and the small things, even when His fingerprints are hard to see.
Sometimes the most frustrating events in our lives become the very pathways God uses to place us exactly where He wants us. Nothing about your life is random. Nothing is wasted. Even the decrees of earthly powers bow beneath the authority of heaven. Trust God’s sovereignty today—He is working behind the scenes, aligning your steps with His perfect plan.
