2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
Every January, people hope for a fresh start. New schedules. New goals. New priorities. But Scripture reminds us that the deepest new beginning doesn’t come from a calendar—it comes from Christ.
I’ve learned that changing habits without changing hearts only leads to frustration. God doesn’t offer temporary resets—He offers new life. If you are in Christ, you are not defined by what you were. Mercy doesn’t just forgive the past; it reshapes the future. That is the kind of new beginning worth embracing.
