Mark 6:48 “And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.“
They couldn’t see Him—but He saw them. That line always grips me. The disciples were caught in a storm, doing everything they could to stay afloat, exhausted and overwhelmed. They were in the very place Jesus had sent them… and they were struggling. But while they strained at the oars, Jesus was on the mountain—praying. Watching. Waiting. He wasn’t unaware. He was right on time.
Maybe you’re in one of those storms right now. Life feels like a fight—against time, pressure, fear, disappointment. You wonder, “Where is Jesus in all of this?” The answer: right where He’s always been. He sees you. He hasn’t lost track of you. And just like that night, He’ll come walking through your storm, stronger than the winds, above the waves. Don’t let the darkness fool you—He’s closer than you think.
