Choose Jesus at Christmas

Luke 2:11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Christmas morning arrives with excitement, wrapping paper, family voices, and the warmth of tradition — but the greatest invitation of the day is simply this: Choose Jesus. Before the food, before the gatherings, before the schedule unfolds, God calls us to remember why this day matters. A Saviour was born unto you. Not simply into the world — but into your life, your need, your story. Christ came so you could know Him personally, walk with Him daily, and rest in His eternal grace.

Choosing Jesus at Christmas means lifting our eyes above the material and onto the miraculous. It means recognizing that the greatest gift you hold today isn’t under your tree — it was laid in a manger. It means guiding your family toward Scripture, prayer, gratitude, and the wonder of salvation. It means deciding that Christmas will not be about what we receive, but whom we worship. When Jesus is chosen first, Christmas becomes exactly what it should be — a celebration of grace, a remembrance of love, and a moment where heaven touched earth for you.

May this Christmas be more than a holiday — may it be a holy day in your heart. Choose Jesus. Choose worship. Choose the Saviour who chose the cross so you could choose eternal life.
