A Form of Godliness Isn’t Enough

2 Timothy 3:5 “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Paul warned that the last days would be marked not by open atheism alone, but by religious appearance without spiritual power. That’s sobering. It means churches can be full while hearts remain empty.

We live in a culture that values appearance—how things look online, how we present ourselves publicly. But God looks deeper. He sees whether our faith is alive or merely familiar. I want more than a form of godliness—I want the power of a changed life, shaped daily by obedience and humility.
