Numbers 24:17 “There shall come a Star out of Jacob…“
Long before Bethlehem, Scripture painted a picture of the Messiah as a rising Star. Balaam didn’t fully understand it, but God was revealing that one day the true Light would pierce the world’s darkness. That Star is Jesus—the Bright and Morning Star who brings hope at the break of day. When Christ rises in a heart, darkness begins to flee.
Jesus is not simply a light. He is the Light. The One who shines into the hardest hearts, the darkest paths, and the deepest wounds. Just as dawn breaks the grip of night, Christ breaks the grip of sin, shame, and sorrow. Let His light rise in your heart again today. His presence is the promise that tomorrow will be brighter than today.
