Filled with His Righteousness

Psalm 17:15  “As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.”

David reminds us that the deepest satisfaction of life isn’t found in possessions, accomplishments, or even relationships—it’s found in seeing God’s face and being conformed to His likeness. That is the great filling Jesus promised to those who hunger and thirst after righteousness. The world promises happiness through pleasure, but it never lasts. Only the presence of God satisfies the longing soul.

There’s a difference between being busy with spiritual activity and truly being filled with God’s righteousness. You can attend services, serve in ministry, and go through the motions, yet still feel empty inside. But when we draw near to the Lord in prayer, when His Word fills our minds and His Spirit controls our steps, we experience the true satisfaction only He can give. Hunger for Him, and He will fill you with Himself.
