Fellowship With the Father

John 10:15 “As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.”

Jesus pulls back the curtain here and shows us something amazing. The same closeness that exists between Him and the Father is the closeness He shares with His sheep. Think of it—eternal fellowship, perfect harmony, absolute love—and that’s the kind of relationship Jesus wants you to experience with Him.

When He laid down His life, He wasn’t only providing salvation; He was inviting us into fellowship with Himself and with the Father. That’s why David could write, “The Lord is my Shepherd.” Not just a shepherd, but my Shepherd. He restores, leads, and blesses because He is near. The Good Shepherd isn’t distant—He’s personal. He knows you, walks with you, and brings you into His fellowship with the Father.
