Known by Name

John 10:14 “I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.”

One of the most comforting truths of the Christian life is this: Jesus knows His sheep personally. He doesn’t deal with us in bulk, as if we were just another face in the crowd. He knows our names, our struggles, our fears, and our needs. When He calls, it’s not a general summons—it’s the voice of a Shepherd who knows His sheep intimately.

Think about that for a moment. In a world where so many feel unseen, unheard, and unnoticed, you are fully known by Jesus. He knows you better than you know yourself. And just as beautiful—His sheep know Him. They recognize His voice, they trust His leading, and they rest in His care. If you feel lost, remind yourself: your Shepherd knows where you are.
