A Memorial of Faith

Mark 14:9 “Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.”

Jesus promised that Mary’s act of worship would never be forgotten. What the world called waste, heaven called worthy. Her simple, sacrificial offering became a lasting testimony of devotion, preached alongside the gospel for generations to come. Mary never sought the spotlight, yet Jesus gave her eternal honor.

God sees what no one else does. The unseen acts of faith—the gift you gave in secret, the prayer whispered in the dark, the offering you made when it hurt—He remembers. He delights in them. And sometimes, He makes those quiet sacrifices echo through eternity. Mary’s story reminds us: no offering made in love to Jesus is ever wasted. It becomes a fragrance that time cannot erase.
