Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…”
Have you ever tried walking forward while staring off to the side? Eventually, you’ll trip. In the same way, faith requires focus — and that focus must be Jesus.
Peter knew what it meant to walk by faith. He literally walked on water. But when he took his eyes off Christ and looked at the wind and the waves, he began to sink. The lesson is clear: when our eyes are on Jesus, we rise above the storm; when they’re on the storm, we start to sink. Keep your eyes on Him — through trials, through triumphs, and through every ordinary moment in between.
