Growing Up in Our Faith

Scripture: “…may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.” — Ephesians 4:15

Just as physical children are expected to grow, God expects His children to mature spiritually. Salvation may happen in a moment, but spiritual maturity happens over time — as we become more like Christ in our character, conduct, and convictions. Paul reminds us not to remain spiritual children who are easily swayed, but to grow up into Christ. Spiritual growth isn’t measured by how many years we’ve been saved, but by how closely our life resembles Jesus. Am I becoming more loving, patient, self-controlled, and sincere? That’s the true measure of maturity. Today, ask the Lord to help you take another step forward in your spiritual growth — becoming more like Him in every part of your life.
