Philippians 4:21 | Pastor Jerry A. Burns
Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you. — Philippians 4:21
Paul now gives a witness in his closing greeting. There is an exchange of love between the saints. Unlike some of his other letters, where many individuals are named, the greeting here is general and directed to the whole church. That shows how close Paul was to the entire congregation.
The brethren with Paul also greet them. The church at Philippi may not have known all of these people personally, but they would be encouraged to know that Paul had faithful people around him who cared for him.
