The Lord tells Aaron to go meet Moses in the wilderness. Aaron obeys immediately and meets Moses at the mount of God.
While God has been dealing with Moses in Midian, He has also been preparing Aaron elsewhere. This shows divine providence working in multiple places at once. God is preparing both men for the mission.
Aaron’s kiss indicates joyful greeting, affection, and reconciliation after long separation.
