Living on Purpose
Living on Purpose
From the opening words of Genesis, the Bible proclaims a foundational truth—“In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.” Without apology or defense, Scripture begins with the eternal God who spoke all things into existence.
We are not here by chance. We are not the product of randomness. We are created by God, for God, and in the image of God. This truth forms the cornerstone of our theology, philosophy, and purpose in life. As believers, we understand that life has meaning because the Creator has assigned it.
Creation isn’t just a past event—it’s a present reality that demands a response. We were created to glorify God, to reflect His image, and to live out His purpose on earth. The heavens declare His glory, and so should our lives.
This message challenges us to:
• Embrace the reality of God as Creator.
• Understand the reason for our existence—to glorify Him.
• Accept the responsibility we carry as His creation—to know Him, love Him, and live for Him.
Let us not live aimlessly as if we were simply dropped into existence. We are sent, on mission, by a God who formed us, knows us, and calls us to reflect His glory.
“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31
